Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, Fulfillment and Logistics to lead our end-to-end fulfillment operations, inventory management, and third-party logistics (3PL) partnerships. This pivotal role is integral to supporting our high-volume direct-to-consumer (D2C) business and expanding retail operations. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in fulfillment operations, particularly in retail and e-commerce environments, with a strong preference for experience in the CPG or health and wellness sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker to drive operational excellence, enhance customer satisfaction, and scale a growing business.

Responsibilities:

Fulfillment Operations:
  • Manage day-to-day operations of order fulfillment, ensuring accurate and on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to forecast order volumes and align fulfillment capacity accordingly.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations, reduce costs, and minimize order errors.

Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Management:

  • Serve as the primary liaison with 3PL partners, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Monitor KPIs (e.g., shipping accuracy, order cycle time, on-time delivery) and address any performance issues promptly.
  • Negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with fulfillment and shipping vendors.

Retail Logistics: 

  • Set up and oversee processes for wholesale channel logistics including bulk order coordination, palletization, and compliance with retailer requirements for delivery windows and packaging standards.
  • Serve as the primary logistics liaison for retail partners, ensuring accurate inventory allocation, on-time shipments, and alignment with store-level replenishment schedules.

Inventory Management:

  • Oversee inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and reconciliation across fulfillment locations.
  • Work cross-functionally with the operations team to ensure optimal inventory levels and prevent stockouts.
  • Implement systems to monitor product quality and shelf life, particularly for supplements requiring temperature or time-sensitive handling.

Operational Strategy:

  • Develop and implement fulfillment strategies to support company growth, seasonal demand, and new product launches.
  • Leverage technology and automation to improve scalability and efficiency.

Customer Experience:

  • Partner with the customer support team to address fulfillment-related issues and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively resolve any shipping delays, returns, or product damage claims.

Qualifications:
  • Retail and eCommerce Experience: Proven track record in retail and eCommerce operations (preferably for a CPG company), with a focus on fulfillment and logistics.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Capable of coaching others and providing feedback.
  • Creative problem-solving and strategic thinking.
  • Efficient knowledge of customer service tech platforms and Shopify systems.
  • A high level of empathy for the customer and curiosity about their experience with us.
  • Working knowledge and experience with various CRM and/or automation platforms.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Park City headquarters.
